Skive Museum

Skive Museum takes you on a cultural and artistic journey through time. Here you can experience art from the mid-19th century up through modern times and all the way to contemporary art. You can also explore our local history exhibition about Skive and the surrounding area. Especially noteworthy is the Wunderkammer, which consists of a selection of works from our own collection.

The Wunderkammer includes art, cultural history, archaeology, etc. In Gadespejlet, children can play back to the beginning of the 20th century. They can weigh coffee and rice in the grocery store, cook in the poor maid's kitchen, and dress up in old-fashioned clothes. The museum shows about two special exhibitions per year. These can be art or cultural-historical exhibitions, or thematic exhibitions across disciplines.

In addition, there are a number of activities and events such as lectures, guided tours, educational courses, etc. Skive Museum also offers guided tours for groups. Contact the museum for more information.
